Wild garlic is currently in season (March – June) so here is one of my recipes with this lovely wild food!
Wild garlic is at it’s most flavoursome when it is bright green and before the flowers open.
For this easy recipe, you just need potatoes, dijon mustard, dairy-free yoghurt (make sure it’s an unsweetened one) and some salt. I didn’t write quantities of each ingredient as it is a recipe to add according to your taste.
This Creamy Wild Garlic Mash is one of my comfort foods! Hope you enjoy it 🙂
Creamy Wild Garlic Mash
- Dijon mustard to taste
- Unsweetened dairy-free yoghurt to taste
- Wild garlic to taste / chopped
- Peel and boil the potatoes.
- Chop the wild garlic.
- When the potatoes are ready, mash them and add (the quantity is according to your personal preferences):- dijon mustard- unsweetened dairy-free yoghurt - chopped wild garlic- salt
- Serve warm.
